A flow hood is used to perform sterile culture work and/or grain-spawn transfers: it provides a sterile stream of air to safely work within. These units can be set side-by-side for a larger work space. They also work perfecly for plant tissue culture, electronic applications and so on.
 
Flow Hood Dimensions:
Box alone:
440mm deep from back to filter face
700mm high from bottom to top of fan mounting spigot.
 
With fan and pre filter box mounted ontop it is roughly 1100mm high.
 
Lightweight, yet sturdy, easy-to-move unit made out of KoolDuct boarding and aluminium framing. 200mm spigot for fan-ducting and quick-release-clips for easy HEPA filter insertion/ inspection/ replacement.
 
Please note you will need 1x wide PVC tape roll or duct tape roll to assemble the unit. You can easily get these from mitre10 or bunnings.
 
I personally have 2x of these units running 24/7 -- my first flow hood has now been running for 2 years with regular G4 pre-filter replacements.
