Premium Tan Oysters mushroom grain spawn – 100% colonised on locally sourced New Zealand grown wheat and ready to be mixed into your substrate for fruiting mushrooms. Spawn is ready to use as soon as it arrives.

Tan Oysters are a popular commercial strain of the classic Pleurotus ostreatus (the original "Pearl Oyster"). It produces attractive tan to light-brown caps (sometimes called Brown Oyster or Golden Tan Oyster), with white gills and stems. It’s a reliable, vigorous, wood-loving side-fruiter and one of the most commonly cultivated oyster strains globally.
