50g Makes about 2.5-3L of agar (1L agar makes roughly 30-40 * poured 90mm plates). This is pure agar powder so nutrients need to be added for optimum mycelium growth, I recommend using our >> agar nutrient mix with the agar powder when making plates, mixing in 4g per 100ml.

Agar work is essential for learning to clone and grow mushrooms from mushrooms. Makes growing mushrooms from spores easier as you can germinate the spores on the agar plate and see the mycelium grow -- allowing you to then even isolate your own mushroom strain!
