Premium Pink Oyster mushroom grain spawn – 100% colonised on locally sourced New Zealand grown wheat and ready to be mixed into your substrate for fruiting mushrooms. Spawn is ready to use as soon as it arrives.

Pink Oysters are a popular commercial strain of Pleurotus Djamor (commonly known as Salmon Oyster, Flamingo Oyster or Rose Oyster). It produces attractive vibrant pink caps (often fading to pale pink or soft tan with age), with pink gills and stems. It’s a reliable, vigorous, wood-loving side-fruiter, not as commonly cultivated due to its shorter shelf life once picked, its best to cook and eat within 3-4 days of harvest.
