Premium Phoenix Oyster mushroom grain spawn – 100% colonised on locally sourced New Zealand grown wheat and ready to be mixed into your substrate for fruiting mushrooms. Spawn is ready to use as soon as it arrives.
Phoenix Oysters are a popular commercial strain of Pleurotus Pulmonarius (commonly known as Grey Oyster, Lung Oyster or Italian Oyster). It produces attractive grey to dark brown caps, with white gills and stems. It’s a reliable, vigorous, wood-loving side-fruiter and one of the most commonly cultivated oyster strains worldwide. This commercial strain is one of my oldest strains that has never let me down.
